Imparare a fare imprese innovative
During a conversation with Professor Fuggetta, it turned out that he often meets with lenders "desperate" because they have no business to invest.
The thing I was very surprised, because as a businessman I know the difficulty of finding a donor of high tech companies that have money to spend and want to spend it.
I made a passing reference to venture capitalists, and we presented a project. Unfortunately, said he was not interested in that kind of business (this was the development of instruments for chemical analysis).
However, at my request gave us a reference to his colleague, who could be interested. And indeed, this financier said that what we proposed within its field of action and would gladly have looked better the project.
We are now preparing a business plan, and we hope it does go on ...
But it was a little 'perplexity.
Maybe what we lack as a country are not so much economic resources (which, apparently, any) nor the skills and entrepreneurs (who apparently are).
What is missing are a number of cases more or less successful, indicating what to do for a microenterprise. When I talk about what to do mica understand complicated things, but just who to call, what to say, what to ask, how to move in case waste, etc ...
For example, a university student
he learned many things from the environment around him (his own colleagues, students in subsequent years) on how to interact with the University.
I feel that this knowledge for entrepreneurs lack "practical", and that each of us has to redo from scratch the same mistakes, it is quite natural that almost everyone will be able to stop before you get to the bottom.
