Can You Get Melanoma Of The Gums?

A che serves the university? Things that make

On Blog Alfonso Fuggetta a reader complains that universities today are not places where one goes to the pleasure of knowing, but where you learn to do.

I lose the patience to read these statements. They know a lot of wealthy people and wealthy, who can spend four or five years of its existence without having to work only for the "pleasure of learning." It reminds me of the noble English of the nineteenth century, who used the study as a hobby, so the loaf was ensured by other means.

In a modern society we must all make contributions to the development of society (remember the Constitution, Italy is a Republic founded on work). The study should allow us to "do", ie to perform complex tasks better, and in turn contribute to the development of our society.

This does not mean studying only what is immediately usable, in fact. Experience shows that the time spent in the study of the fundamental aspects of a subject, which are naturally more theoretical and less practical, pays for itself many times over the years to follow.

But we can not and must never forget the purpose for which we study. It 'a contempt for people who can not afford to study.
